How It Works

How the Bypass Filtration System for Engine & Hydraulic Oil Works

Engine oil is fed under pressure into the Oil Reconditioner filter and evaporation chamber by tapping into the engine’s oil line or pressure port. Solid contaminants down to one micron are first removed through the Oil Reconditioner’s filter. The filtered oil then enters the processing chamber where liquid contaminants (such as water and fuel) are evaporated and vented.  See the diagram below.

Oil flow and temperature

The filter unit and the evaporating unit are built to work as one unit together. To get correct and safe function with the right flow, the oil has to pass through the filter unit before the evaporating unit. The process is driven entirely by the engine’s oil pressure and normal electrical system
